The three territories and one province are vying to be a part of the 12-team discipline on the Scotties Event of Hearts in St. Catharines, Ont. The primary draw begins Saturday.

This would be the final yr of the unpopular pre-match qualifier for the ladies’s and males’s nationwide curling championships.

The format can be altered in 2018 to permit for extra equal participation of all territories and provinces.
