The Toronto Argonauts have acquired all-star receiver S.J. Green from the Montreal Alouettes for a sixth-spherical choice within the 2017 CFL Draft and a conditional draft pick in 2018.

Green spent the final decade with the Alouettes and will likely be reunited with former Montreal head coach Marc Trestman and normal manager Jim Popp in Toronto.

The six-foot-two, 216-pound native of Brandon, Fla., has 444 receptions for six,626 yards and 42 touchdowns in 116 profession CFL video games.

The 2-time Gray Cup champion, 5-time East Division all-star and 2013 CFL all-star eclipsed the 1,000-yard receiving mark 4 occasions with the Alouettes, with the latest coming in 2015.

He missed many of the 2016 marketing campaign with a knee damage.

“We’re very comfy with the progress S.J. has made rehabilitating his knee and in accordance with his medical doctors he’s on schedule to be prepared for coaching camp,” Popp stated in a press release.
